Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Phlebotomists to join a leading hospital in New York, NY. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in hospital or lab settings and demonstrate excellent patient care and specimen collection skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and efficiently
- Handle, label, and process blood samples following proper protocols
- Ensure patient identification and safety procedures are strictly followed
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Work collaboratively with clinical and laboratory teams
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in:
- Hospital
- Commercial Lab
- Blood Bank
- Completion of a Phlebotomy Program
- Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) – Required
- AHA BLS Certification – Required
- High School Diploma or GED
Schedule Requirements:
- Monday – Friday with rotating weekends (every other weekend)
- No RTO allowed during the assignment
Compensation: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
